Rite-Hite Corporation has been working with Ark Consulting since 1998 on the development and enhancement of our twelve websites. Services provided included design and content consultation and programming and over the last 4-5 years Ark has helped us focus on search engine promotion and positioning. This has been a key element to our overall marketing efforts, having cut all traditional advertising in 2001, our website and the traffic that the search engines generate have been our main source of customer inquiries.

We have found that to generate quality traffic you need a prominent place in the search engines. This requires not only knowing the logic that the search engines apply, but also how to structure the content on your site so that it is compatible with that logic. This is has been an area that Ark has been tremendous asset. If we were to try and accomplish this on our own, it would be a time consuming task, with no guarantee of results.

In late 2003, we worked with Ark on a search engine optimization overhaul of our Frommelt Safety e-commerce site. Between 1/1/03 and 9/20/03 the site had done about $1700 in online orders.  Since the changes have been implemented (about three months) we have done over $30,000 in online business. This is directly attributable to traffic that was generated from the search engines.
